Dean's Award for Advising Excellence Dean's Award for Advising Excellence

The Dean's Office Award for Advising Excellence is presented annually to a College of Arts and Sciences faculty member who has distinguished him or herself as an effective, caring mentor for students in the College.

The award is selected by a committee composed of the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies, the (s/b) Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Services, and the Graduation Analyst.

The award consists of a certificate and a cash amount to be deposited into the departmental account for use by the recipient.

The C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa protects and interprets the Chucalissa archaeological site. The museum provides high quality educational experiences on past and present Native American cultures of the Mid-South, and pursues new knowledge of these cultures through research as part of the University's explicitly multicultural and multiethnic educational orientation. more
