Fall 2008 Pre-Professional Orientation Schedule

To become familiar with information essential to their future success, Pre-Health and Pre-Law students who have not met with the Pre-Professional Advisor are asked to attend one of the below mandatory one-hour orientation sessions. Students should sign up in Scates Hall, Room 107, or call 678-5454.

Pre-Law Society Meetings - Fall 2008

The Pre-Law Society will meet in the J.W. Brister Bldg., Room 220, at 3:00 PM on the following Wednesdays:

• Oct. 22 - Pre-Law Workshop at the Law School. More specific will be posted soon.

• Nov. 19

Kaplan Tuition Assistance Programs

Communications Course of Interest to Pre-Law Students

COMM 4812/6812 - Communications Law in the Performing Arts. This course covers artist, performer, management contractual relationships; acquisition, copyright and disposition of literary and audio-visual properties; production and distribution agreements; advertising law and rights affecting TV, motion picture, radio and stage businesses.

LSAC Fee Waiver Program

The Law School Admission Council dedicates funds, through its Fee Waiver Program, to support law school access for all candidates regardless of their ability to pay for the LSAT and associated services. A limited number of fee waiver packets are available in Scates Hall 107, or candidates applying to law school may download the fee waiver packet from the LSAC website at: http://www.LSAC.org
